Brian,
That’s definitely a good thing to think about. Some of the business books I’ve read mention taking some time to think about what you want from life, aside from business, before you actually come up with your dream of what you want your business to become. I never really thought too hard about it until last week when I caught the flu and and was confined to my bed. I realized that I want to live a simple life, do a few things I really enjoy, and honestly not spend a ton of time working on my business each day (maybe a few hours). The reason I want to start a business is because I know working a 9-5 would make me go crazy and wear me out. I want freedom, so I’m going to make a conscious effort as I start my business in the coming months to never get too caught up in it. With the lifestyle I intend to live, I will not need a ton of money, so if my business doesn’t become huge, then that is ok with me. And if it does, I would have no problem delegating responsibilities to people so I can still live how I want to.
Just some things to think about…
Best regards,
Adam

Hey Adam,
Thanks for your insights!
Although I think it is difficult to start and build a successful business from only a few hours a day, I think running your own business is much more fulfilling than working a 9-5 job….in many ways, you end up working a lot more but having more fun!
Cheers,
Brian

You are discusting. You can’t drink beer from paper cups. eeewwww.
The end is really cool. A friend of mine is a cook and two of his last bosses mobbed him so intensely that he got sick mentally. His confidence was really down. Thanks to the financial crisis that he could take over an restaurant which was destroyed economically by the last owner. At first he intended to do just a party service with modern food. Like finger food or simply a creative decoration. But then someone offered him the deal with the restaurant. This is a really crappy place. It’s located next to a steelfactory and on the other side is a part of the town where people, who recieve money from the wellfare, live. This looks bad at first, but it offers two advantages: 1. If he fails, he is happy to be out of that dirty place, 2. He has to be cheap, he has to learn how to handle money very well or otherwise no one could afford his food in that specific market. This also supports his family and he can build up his partyservice with a little money source in the back. Not everything that stinks is shit.
